1. About Us
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the cleaning services provided by Mohlight LLC, a Virginia limited liability company doing business as Mohlight Spotless ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). We provide professional residential and commercial cleaning services throughout the Northern Virginia and greater DMV area.

2. Acceptance of Terms
By scheduling, booking, or receiving any cleaning service from us — whether online, by phone, or in person — you ("Client," "you," or "your") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Cancellation Policy, all of which are incorporated herein by reference.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not book or use our services.
3. Services
Mohlight Spotless provides professional cleaning services for residential properties (homes, apartments, condominiums) and commercial spaces (offices, retail, and similar facilities) in the DMV area. Specific services included in each booking are described at the time of booking confirmation.
All quoted prices are estimates based on the information provided at booking. Final pricing is confirmed before service begins. We reserve the right to adjust pricing if the actual scope of work materially differs from what was represented at booking.
Services may be performed by Mohlight LLC employees or by vetted independent contractors. All individuals performing services on our behalf are background-checked, trained, and held to our quality standards.
4. Booking & Payment
Bookings may be made through our online platform at book.mohlightspotless.com or by contacting us directly by phone or email. A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of payment or written confirmation from Mohlight Spotless.
Payment is due at the time of booking or as otherwise agreed in writing. We accept major credit and debit cards through our secure payment processor, Stripe, Inc. By providing your payment information, you authorize us to charge the agreed-upon amount for services rendered.
We do not store your credit card or payment information on our servers. All payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe, which maintains PCI-DSS Level 1 compliance — the highest level of payment security certification.
4.1 Recurring Billing Authorization
If you select a Weekly, Bi-Weekly, or Monthly recurring cleaning service, the following terms apply:
- You expressly authorize Mohlight LLC to securely store your payment method with Stripe, Inc. and to automatically charge that payment method for each scheduled cleaning at the agreed price, until you cancel.
- We will send you an email notice at least 48 hours before each recurring charge, giving you the opportunity to review, reschedule, or cancel before being billed.
- You may cancel your recurring service at any time, with no fee for cancelling the recurring enrollment itself, by using the cancel option in your account dashboard or by contacting us at (571) 921-5254 or mohlightllc@gmail.com. Cancellation of an individual upcoming appointment is still subject to our standard Cancellation Policy if made less than 24 hours before that specific appointment.
- If a recurring charge fails (e.g., expired card, insufficient funds), we will notify you by email and pause your recurring service until a valid payment method is provided.
- Recurring pricing may be adjusted with at least 14 days' advance written notice by email before it takes effect on your next billing cycle.

6. Client Responsibilities
To help us provide the best possible service, you agree to:
- Provide safe and unobstructed access to your property at the scheduled time.
- Disclose any known hazards, including aggressive pets, fragile or high-value items, biohazards, or areas requiring special handling, prior to service.
- Ensure the property has running water and electricity available during the cleaning.
- Secure or remove irreplaceable items, heirlooms, jewelry, or cash before service begins.
- Treat our staff with courtesy and respect at all times.
7. Satisfaction Guarantee
We stand behind the quality of our work. If you are not completely satisfied with any aspect of your cleaning, please contact us within 24 hours of service completion. We will return to re-clean the specific areas of concern at no additional charge.
This guarantee does not apply to pre-existing conditions, items disclosed as damaged prior to service, or dissatisfaction resulting from restrictions placed on our team during the cleaning.
8. Insurance & Liability
Mohlight LLC maintains general liability insurance and is bonded for your protection. In the rare event that accidental damage occurs during a cleaning, please notify us within 48 hours of service completion by phone or email, and provide photos documenting the damage.
We will work diligently to resolve all legitimate damage claims in a fair and timely manner. However, we are not liable for:
- Pre-existing damage or wear and tear.
- Damage to improperly secured, fragile, or high-value items not disclosed prior to service.
- Loss of items not reported within 48 hours of service completion.
- Damage resulting from client-provided cleaning products or equipment.
Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service in which the alleged damage occurred.
9. Non-Solicitation
You agree not to directly hire, solicit, or engage any Mohlight Spotless employee or contractor for cleaning or related services outside of our platform for a period of 24 months following your last booking with us. A violation of this provision may result in a referral fee of $2,500.
10. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. We will never sell your data to third parties.
11. Termination of Service
Either party may terminate the service relationship at any time. We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue services to any client for reasons including, but not limited to: unsafe working conditions, abusive or disrespectful behavior toward our staff, repeated non-payment, or repeated late cancellations.
12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation between the parties. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to binding arbitration in Prince William County, Virginia, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, operations, or applicable law. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on our website. Continued use of our services after such notice constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
